Tamtouma
Inherited from ancient Tunisian jewellery, the Tamtouma motif embodies a deeply rooted ornamental language; here, I have transformed it into the matrix of a sculptural collection.
I chose it not to reproduce it, but to open it up: by changing its scale, function and context, it becomes a medium for contemporary exploration.
Used as a headpiece or back structure, it transcends the boundaries of adornment to interact with clothing, space and the entire body.
These creations assert a contemporary spirit rooted in artisanal memory.
